Peterborough PCT wanted to engage with young people who drink alcohol, in order to highlight the associated dangers of increased risk taking and unprotected sex. The Trust put messages in venues where young people gather.
As we had already designed a health promotion Z-CARD® for the Trust, they returned to us to design an accompanying beermat. We spotted a great opportunity to help the Trust measure the effectiveness of the beermat format.
A QR Code links printed materials to mobile websites or Apps. This instant connection allows print effectiveness to be measured with the same depth as digital channels. We designed a beermat that encouraged young people to follow the link and access health information on their mobile phone.
