As joint partners of the Championship Fantasy Football League, Texaco wanted to increase the number of players whilst delivering a fixture guide to fans. Z-CARD®s were the ideal solution. Combined with Point of Sale boxes, the Z-CARD®s were displayed in 1,050 Texaco stores throughout the UK and handed out to football fans at 13 Championship clubs.
The Z-CARD®s provided users with information about the league, including where to register.
The campaign resulted in a 44% increase in players compared to the previous year. The number of online searches for 'Texaco' also increased during and immediately after the 8 week promotional period.
